Curbside Recycling

City of St. Petersburg Universal Curbside Recycling - Cart Delivery Is Underway

Now through the end of June, blue, 95-gallon recycling carts are being automatically delivered to single-and multi-family (up to 4 units) residential addresses in St. Petersburg. Customers are encouraged to move the container away from the curb to the side or rear of their home until their designated collection day.

Accepted Recyclables
With Universal Curbside Recycling, there is no need to separate items. All items, as long as they are free of food particles, may be placed in the cart for bi-weekly curbside pickup.

Items that may be recycled include:

Glass Containers (all colors)
Aluminum & Steel cans, steel jar lids
Milk & Juice cartons, drink boxes
Plastics #1-7 (containers with numbered triangles)
Newspapers, magazines, mail, shopping ads, windowed envelopes
Mixed Paper/Cardboard
All recyclables must be rinsed or free of food particles (no yard waste or regular garbage).

The city will continue to maintain five drop-off recycling centers/brush sites for those wishing to use them.

When does curbside recycling start for me?

What zone (recycling route) am I in?

I need more details for my zone: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4, Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8.
